Energy Savings

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, 25 to 40 percent of the energy used for heating or cooling is wasted. Contaminants in the heating and cooling system cause it to work harder and shorten the life of your system. Although filters are used, the heating and cooling system still gets dirty through normal use. When an HVAC system is clean, it doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain the temperature you desire. As a result, less energy is used, leading to improved cost-effectiveness.

Purpose of Cleaning Your HVAC System

Air Conditioning systems in a nut shell "condition" the air by transferring heat from within the occupied space to the air outside.  All components of air conditioning systems get dirty and hinder the ability of the unit.  Delaying simple maintenance to save money will cost you in the long run through service calls and parts replacement.  Contact us today and get a scheduled routine cleaning.

Cleaning your system is not our only priority.  We also make sure to keep a clean & safe work environment.  All of our equipment is cleaned and tested prior to entering a work site and our technicians are all equipped with the proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).  Your space is protected with heavy duty poly plastic to prevent the spread of dirt, debris, or contamination.

Coil Cleaning

When a coil becomes blocked with debris or oxidation the heat transfer is compromised.  This causes the unit to struggle and could potentially cause compressors to fail.  Energy costs rise and the potential for breakdown dramatically increases.  Using the appropriate chemicals as described in the technician's initial evaluation, the unit is pressure washed and cleaned thoroughly of all blockage and debris.

Condenser Rodding

End plates are removed and all tubes are "punched" by using non abrasive chemicals, water, and tube brushes.

Blower Wheels

Blower Wheels over time may build up dirt on their fins.  This causes them to spin unevenly and reduce their effectiveness.

Drain Lines & Drain Pumps

A clogged drain or a malfunctioning pump can result in massive water damage.  Drain lines must be kept clear and drain pumps must be in proper working order at all times that the unit is in use.

Fin Straightening

Fins on coils can become damaged over time from a large variety of reasons.  Bent fins reduce airflow and need to be repaired.

Intake Screens

A coil receives it's air from either the open air surrounding it or from a duct work plenum.  The air intake screen that prevents outdoor debris and animals from entering the system is many times overlooked.  This screen must be kept clear and cleaned properly and cautiously.

Pipe Flushing, Heat Exchangers, & Water Cooled Condensers

A custom designed reverse circulation tank is connected to the supply and return lines and pumps a non abrasive mixture throughout the system to remove any blockage without reducing the integrity of the piping.
